Port Angeles is now served by only 1 ferry system: the Victoria Express no longer operates the 60 minute passenger-only Victoria Port Angeles ferry route between June & September. The MV Coho (Blackball Transport) however operates a year-round vehicle / passenger ferry service and makes the Port Angeles to Victoria ferry crossing in 1hr 35 minutes.
Located on Washington States' Olympic Peninsula and nestled between the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Port Angeles is a deep water port and the largest city on the Peninsula. Just 80 miles north of Seattle, the city's' economy is based on shipping, fishing and tourism.
