Shaw Island ferry Information

With a resident population of less than 300, Shaw is one of the smallest of the San Juan Islands.

In spite of its size daily ferry service is provided to Shaw from Anacortes, Friday Harbor, Lopez and Orcas by the Washington State ferry system- Reservations are not available and vehicles to and from Shaw are loaded on a 1st come basis.

The ferry landing, country store, post office and gas dock are all operated by an order of Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist.

Public accommodation is not available on Shaw Island however the Shaw Island Country Park has 11 campsites for those who choose to spend time on the Island
