As a result of the State of Alaska dropping all requirements for Covid-19 testing, the Alaska ferries will, beginning May 21st, 2021, no longer require proof of a negative COVID test prior to boarding any Alaska marine ferry on any route.
BC Ferries To Allow Essential Travel Only
Following the Travel Restriction Order M1722 issued by the Province of British Columbia on April 23, 2021, BC Ferries is denying travel to customers seeking to travel for non-essential reasons.
This includes including recreational vehicles, on routes that connect different regional zones as defined by the Order.
The following routes are affected:
- Tsawwassen - Swartz Bay
- Tsawwassen - Duke Point
- Tsawwassen - Southern Gulf Islands
- Horseshoe Bay - Departure Bay
- Comox - Powell River
