Mask Mandate Returns For BC Ferry Travellers

BC Ferries Re-implements Mask Mandate:

Rising Covid-19 numbers have resulted in the re-intoduction of the mask mandate on all BC Ferries.

Required by the Coast Guard to leave the vehicle deck while the vessel is underway,  BC Ferry passengers are able to visit the cafeteria, enjoy the lounges and the outer decks but are now mandated to wear masks except while dining.

Seattle Victoria Ferry Service Returns

Welcome Back !
After an absence of 18 months, the Seattle - Victoria ferry service will return on the 17 September 2021.
The scheduled start-up will see Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday service for the winter months.
Fully vaccinated travellers will once again be able to enjoy the 2-3/4 hr mini cruise through the scenic Puget Sound and across the Straight of Juan de Fuca to Victoria on Vancouver Island.

Ferry Service Between Washington & British Columbia Still On Hold

Although the Canadian government opened the border for land, air and recreational boaters on 09 August 2021, the Canadian Marine Border remains closed to commercial ferry operators.
With no word yet as to when the Marine Border might be reopened, all ferry services between Seattle, Port Angeles and Anacortes to Victoria BC, remain suspended.

Once the Marine Border is re-opened to commercial operators, ferry reservations between Seattle & Victoria will once again be available from the Home Page on www.ferrytravel.com.
