Alaska Ferry MV Tazlina Returns to Service
Ferry Reservations for the Northern Panhandle
Commencing Thursday 03 February 2022, the MV Tazlina will serve the northern panhandle communities of Angoon, Gustavus, Hoonah, Juneau, Haines & Skagway.

The MV Tazlina was the first of two Alaska Class ferries, and the first AMHS vessel built in Alaska.
She has been in layup as a standby ship pending the training of a newly hired crew.

BC Ferries Extends Fare Savings
Ferry Travel Savings On Mainland Routes
BC Ferries has extended their Mainland - Vancouver Island savings pilot program through to the
end of March 2022.
The program offers a discount for users who reserve ferry space on the less busy sailings (evenings, after 9 p.m.) For Mainland - Vancouver Island reservations call 250-381-1401
During the trial period the percentage of
reservations on evening sailings rose to 30 per cent- representing an increase of 10 per cent over 2019.
54% of respondents to a
BC Ferries survey noted that these ferry savings will influence how they travel
with the ferry service in the future.
